The UK Safe Blood system is NOT a physical blood bank.

We have no stocks of uncontaminated blood available to use when a transfusion is required. This is because such a service is not possible or practical in the UK.

The My Medical Choice Safe Blood protection system supports only the safest, most well-established alternatives to standard blood transfusion. This ensures the risks from using other people’s blood are eliminated – and there ARE risks, even from uncontaminated blood. One of those risks is death.

Although we DO have a national Safe Blood database of donors for those members who prefer to choose privately donated blood, these donors are ‘on call’ on an as-and-when-needed basis.

This means our members do NOT donate blood to a private blood collection service or a special department within the NHS in advance, as this is not possible in the UK.

We appreciate there may be some confusion due to the Swiss organisation run by George della Pietra, as they also use the Safe Blood name.

As we understand it, the Swiss Safe Blood Donation organisation is trying to establish private blood banks around the world using blood from donors who did not have the Covid-19 injection. However, had this sort of system been viable, we would have set this up two-and-a-half years ago when we started building My Medical Choice and first had the idea of safe blood banks.

A lot has changed in the last 3-years, and our expertise in blood and blood product transfusion alternatives has grown to the point where we now understand that the ONLY truly safe transfusion is autologous donation (which uses your own blood recycled). In fact, autologous donation, when used in conjunction with bloodless surgery techniques, results in fewer infections and complications, and significantly shorter hospital stays.
