As you can see, the screensaver is eye-catching and the directions are crystal clear. It ensures emergency services see the No Blood! image as soon as they turn on the phone, so they can take the patient directly to the nearest hospital with a bloodless surgery team, saving valuable time.

Quickly Directs Medical Teams to the correct page

The screensaver also directs medical staff to look for the member’s Advance Decision Notice to refuse specified medical treatment, as well as the data needed for emergency services to log in to Safe-Blood.org.

As soon as medical staff login to the members account page, they can access crucial and potentially life-saving medical information about their patient FAST! This can save critical minutes and avoids medical error.

The login also triggers an automated emergency alert SMS text that goes to the member’s In Case of Emergency (ICE) contacts to warn them that the member is in hospital (we also recommend that members add their ICE contacts to the relevant section of their mobile phone for additional protection).
