“The more the clinician knows about transfusion medicine, the less they give. The less a clinician knows about transfusion medicine, the more they give.”
The above is a direct quote from renowned medical doctor Aryeh Shander, MD, FCCM, FCCP, FASA based at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Englewood Hospital and Medical Centre.
There is a perception that blood transfusions are extremely safe and can be used routinely without issue. However, undetectable toxins in the blood may be transmitted from the donor to the patient – and that could result in serious harm or even death.
In the following video interview, Dr Shander discusses the issue of hospitals giving blood transfusions as a routine treatment – often when other, simpler treatments would be far more successful and less risk, such as iron treatment or supplementation for anaemia, for example.
For anyone watching the video who subscribes to Terrain Theory over Germ Theory, substitute the doctor’s references to viruses for toxic substances.
